After Diana Vreeland

Who else to style the wigs for a new fashion exhibition about ‘The High Priestess of Fashion’ other than the High Priest of Hair..! Angelo was commissioned for all the wigs shown in an exhibition dedicated to fashionista Diana Vreeland, in The Palazzo Fortuny, Venice. Articles on display at the exhibition included iconic pieces from Balenciaga, Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel, Missoni and Pucci, among others which helped to shape 20th century fashion.

Diana Vreeland was given the moniker ‘The High Priestess of Fashion’ due to her undisputed influence in the world of fashion and magazine publishing. She spent 25 years at Harper’s Bazaar, followed by eight at the helm of Vogue as editor-in-chief and was then appointed Special Consultant for the Costume Institute at New York’s Metropolitan Museum.
